The real peculiarity of Bugnara is the beauty of the natural environment in which it is inserted, close to the National parks (with many possibilities for excursions), the ski centers and beautiful other villages (Introdacqua, Anversa, Cocullo, Villalago, Scanno) full of charm , history, art and traditions. The nearby "Sagittario Gorge" Nature Reserve is rich in flora and fauna with a well-kept botanical garden. Especially in spring and summer various fairs and parties are organized in Bugnara while the activity of the Congress Center is always dynamic. Bugnara is a good place to live in (quiet, well connected and very close to Sulmona) or just to spend holidays. Bus services are numerous, the A25 motorway is 15 minutes away, Pescara airport 1 hour away, as well as the beaches of the Adriatic; Rome can be reached in 75 '(2-3 hours with buses or trains that leave from Sulmona).
