Castiglione a Casauria PE (€ 25,000) - Cod. 0956
Partially renovated terraced house with balconies and panoramic terrace.
4-level house (about 60 m2) on the main street, in its raw state, only partially restored and to be completed. On the facade there are two small doors surrounded by stone portals, the one on the right leads to a basement cellar with a beautiful brick vault and a small window, the door on the left is that of the house. Entering the house you go up to the first floor with a short flight of stairs and you arrive in a single room (kitchen/living room) with vaulted ceiling, a wall fireplace, niche and door/window towards a small balcony overlooking the street. An internal marble staircase leads to the second floor where there is a small bedroom with window, a bedroom with door/window onto a large balcony and a bathroom. Going further up you reach the third floor with a small room with an exposed roof (to be rearranged) and the door/window to go out onto the terrace. The terrace, facing south-west, is truly very panoramic, allowing a view of the mountains and valleys of two National Parks, as well as the roofs of the historic centre. The terrace is limited by iron railings, is covered with only the bituminous sheath (to be paved) and also has a useful water point.
The doors are made of wood and the doors / windows of the main rooms are also made of wood with double glazing. The house must be completed with plaster, floors and systems (prepared).
Energy class not currently assessable.
The village of Castiglione a Casauria (PE) is at 350 m. asl on a long rocky outcrop flanking the Pescara River valley in the Gran Sasso-Laga National Park. It has less than 900 inhabitants and the houses are leaning against the main street which is also full of ancient churches and palaces. In the flat part of its territory downstream stands the famous Abbey of San Clemente a Casauria (IX-XII century) national monument. Near the Abbey there are the stops for the regional and direct buses to the airports of Rome, also near the exit of the A25 motorway; the railway station is 1 km away. The city of Pescara with the airport and the beaches of the Adriatic Sea are about 30' away, famous ski resorts around 40', Rome 90' away car.
