Pretty house restored in a panoramic position.

 

Pretty small house on three levels (55 sq m) renovated, at the top of the village under the ancient castle, with beautiful views of the whole Peligna Valley up to the historic city of Sulmona. The ancient precious main door leads into a long room with a rustic wooden ceiling which leads to the bathroom with shower and to the fully equipped kitchen / dining corner with new appliances; a wooden staircase leads to a large attic room suitable as a bedroom where a skylight with armored glass allows a splendid view of the castle. From the ground floor another singular wooden staircase leads to the lower floor with a long room with a vaulted ceiling and precious stones on the back wall; the lower room is divided into a small bedroom and a study / living room. The windows have small balconies, also equipped with mosquito nets, which overlook the green valley below. The floors of the house are of rustic ceramics and the internal / external fixtures in sturdy wood and low-emission double glazing, in compliance with the criteria of energy saving; double wooden roof covered with ancient tiles.

Near the house there are terraced parking areas and the departure of numerous hiking trails in the Majella / Morrone national park.

The village of Roccacasale has about 800 inhabitants, is 450 m. slm in a very sunny position and has some shops, bars, restaurants, post office and also municipal parking. At various times of the year but above all in summer, interesting cultural and recreational events are organized in the country. The nearby city of Sulmona can also be reached by bus in a few minutes; using the car instead you arrive in 5 'at the entrance "Pratola-Sulmona" of the A25. Rome is 90 'away (more than 2 hours by train or bus).
